Doris M. “Dottie” Rosenbarger, 87, passed away early Sunday morning with her loving daughter by her bedside. She was born in New Albany to the late Virgil and Elizabeth (Lee) Williams. Dottie was a lifelong resident of New Albany, where she and her late husband, Don, raised their daughter. She began her career as a dental assistant for Dr. Harry Lee, where she proudly worked for over 13 years. However, she will always be remembered as the owner and operator of Zesto in New Albany, which she and Don ran together for over 30 years. She also attended Northside Christian Church in New Albany. Dottie's family and friends will always remember her generosity, her thoughtful nature, her incredible work ethic, and her love of entertaining. Her motto was always "the more, the merrier”, and she always made sure that your time together was memorable and that you never walked away hungry.
She will be missed dearly by her surviving family members, which include her daughter Lisa Young (Jim); her brother Ed Williams (Marty); grandchildren, Justin Young (Hollee), Trevor Young (Jill) and Derek Young (Hannah); her great-grandchildren Landon, Madison, Ava and Mason; nieces Sue Williams and Dana Kapps; and nephews Bobby Williams and Chuck Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Donald L. Rosenbarger; sister, Virginia Dudley, her brother Bob Williams, and nephew, Ty Dudley.
Her funeral service will be at 1 PM Wednesday at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E. Market Street). Visitation will be from 10 AM-1 PM before the service. Burial will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Corydon, Indiana.
