Everett Elwood Reisert Sr.

July 29, 1934 ~ November 4, 2019 (age 85)


Everett Elwood Reisert Sr., passed away Monday November 4, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  He was born in Greenville, Indiana and retired from the New Albany Street Department after more than 50 years of service where he served as the Assistant Street Commissioner.   He was a member of the Coon Hunter’s Club, the Democratic Party and Grace Lutheran Church.   He was preceded in death by his wife: Elnora Ruth “Pat” Reisert.

Survivors include:

            His son:         E. J. Reisert,

            His daughter: Deborah “Debbie” Beck,

            His sister: Evelyn Eurton,

            3 Grandchildren: Justan and Joshua Reisert and Paeton Zephyr Taylor,

            and 3 Great Grandchildren: Marissya, MacKenzye and Makendra Reisert.

A Celebration of Elwood’s life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday November 8, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church(1787 Klerner Ln.) with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1846 E. Oak St.) from 3 – 7 PM Thursday.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Grace Lutheran Church.
