Terry D. Weissberg, 65, passed away Tuesday January 1, 2019 at his residence in Corydon, Indiana. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was a U.S. Army veteran who received the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Badge (M16) and the Good Conduct Medal. He retired after over 25 years with Colgate Palmolive in Clarksville, Indiana where he served as a union representative for the chemical workers. Terry was a graduate of Floyd Central High School and was an avid IU Hoosiers fan. He loved coaching baseball and was formerly a pitching coach at Lanesville High School. He enjoyed playing online poker and loved horseracing,
Survivors include his wife Kay (Crumbo) Weissberg; son Ian Weissberg; his daughter Whitney Weissberg and grandsons Oscar and Benson Weissberg and Finn Shaak
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3-7 PM Friday and 10 AM-Noon Saturday at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany)
His memorial service will be held at Noon Saturday in the Oak St. Chapel with military honors to follow. interment will be private.
