William “Bill” Edward Kime passed away Thursday at Clark Memorial Hospital. He served in the Army and Air Force and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was also a member of Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church, American Legion, VFW and DAV.
He and Sandy, his wife of 25 years who passed in October, 2019, shared their love for travel throughout the United States and organized an entire displacement camp from the ground up during the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
Bill is survived by his son, William Edward Kime Jr.; daughter, Diana Gail Clifford (Elmer); brothers, Jack Kime (Kathy) and David Kime (Connie); sisters, Carolyn Evans (JD) and Doris Thomas; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kime; parents, Joseph Gordon Kime and Minnie Atkins; brother, Joseph Kime; sister, Marilyn Kime.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, memorial services will be held at a later date. He will be buried at Mount Tabor Cemetery.
