Bonnie Rose McKnight, 76, passed away on Monday evening at Baptist Floyd Health. She was born in New Albany and was a resident of Laconia, Indiana. She was married to her husband, Mark for 25 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie enjoyed her dogs, loved fishing, roses and loved the outdoors. She was also very close to God and attended Silver Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband- Mark McKnight; daughter- Gwena Knear; grandchildren-Modonna Cox, Rickie Minton, Chasity Hamilton and Josh Johnson (Amy); great-grandchildren-Logan Sizemore, Aliyah Basham, Brian Basham, Mackenzie Johnson, Danielle Lynch, Landrick Minton, Cadence Johnson, Jaden McConnell, Hadley Johnson, Horayah Hamilton and nieces- Rebecca Davis and Tiana Bruce.
Preceded in death are her parents-Jesse L. and Dorothy H. Bruce; brothers- Eugene Bruce and Irvin Bruce; daughter- Angela Johnson; grandchild- Bonnie Rose Cox and 4 preemie sons.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm, Thursday 12-8 pm and Friday 9-10 right before the service at the Market Street Chapel of Naville and Seabrook Funeral Homes.
Service will be at 10 am at the funeral home.
