Shirley (Seefeldt) Heuser was born July 2, 1925 in Chicago, IL. At 19, a “cute” sailor stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center asked her to dance at the Trianon Ballroom. Three months later on July 1st, 1945 they married and celebrated her 20th birthday the next day. Later in the summer, the war ended and they moved to his hometown, Jeffersonville, IN, and so began a 51 year legacy of love, family and inspiration to their children, grandchildren and friends. How many children can say they’ve never heard their parents have an argument after 51 years? We are blessed to have them and are so happy they have each other once again. Love you Mom & Dad.
