Jack E. McDonald, 91, passed away Friday morning at Riverview Village in Clarksville. He loved racing and began his career at the Sports Dome in 1949. He was known as "Snappy Jack, darling of the race fans". He was also a retired aircraft mechanic and was a Korean Army war veteran.
He is survived by his daughters-Jo Dufton, Victoria Anne, and Lou Ann Windhorst (Travis); grandchildren- Jaime Kielser and David Smith; 7 great-grandchildren and good friends-Jack Hollowell, Kathy Penick and Paul Davis.
He is preceded in death by his parents- Robert and Stella McDonald; brothers-Robert and Jim; sister-Joyce and granddaughter-Claire Dufton.
Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes on Tuesday from 12-6 pm. Interment will be at SCI-Kraft Graceland Memorial Park and will be private.
